How I Overcame The Lack Syndrome

A couple of years ago, I used to make plans to fail even before trying…..

I’ll be too embarrassed if I lose, and that’s one thing I can’t handle ”. Does this sound like you? Well, that was me. So every single time I planned to fail, I failed 100%, Do you know why? because I didn’t even border trying, why would I anyways when it feels so uncomfortable?

Some friends and family appreciated and encouraged me to do the things I told them I really desired to do, but I just couldn’t. My professors and coaches said amazing things about me…. I remember one of my professors during my 1:1 evaluation, said to me “You’ll do great”., I smiled and thanked her, little did she know everything she said went flying through the glass window.

I was struggling with Self Doubt.

It was so bad that even the thought of it would make me want to throw up. I felt miserable. Almost every attempt to overcome my Self-doubt failed. Now, this is the crazy part, when I tried to dig deeper to understand why I kept failing, I noticed there were some specific factors that were hidden beneath what I called “Self Doubt”. As I dug even further, I discovered the root cause which I named the “LACK SYNDROME”.

I Lacked:

Self-confidence.

High Self-esteem.

Courage.

Self Belief.

Inner Peace.

Permission.

All these showed up in the form of “Self Doubt” for me. Now in order for me to solve this problem, I had to take care of my “LACK SYNDROME”.

Tip:

If my story resonates with you, and you are where I was years ago, I need you to dig deeper, to find out what the actual root cause of your roadblock is, because a lot of times, it’s not often what we think is the problem, it’s actually what we discover, and uncover about ourselves and what’s underneath the issue that presents before us.

To treat it, you must know the exact problem!
